John Hely Hutchinson, 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty 2
     John Michael Henry Hely Hutchinson, 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty was born on 12 November 1902.1 He was the son of Richard Walter John Hely Hutchinson, 6th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Elena Maria Grace.1 He married Dorothy Jean Hotham, daughter of John Beaumont Hotham, on 27 July 1925.1 He died in 1981.
     John Michael Henry Hely Hutchinson, 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Peterborough between 1943 and June 1945.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Armoured Corps (Territorial Army).1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty [I., 1800] on 19 October 1948.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Viscount Donoughmore of Knocklofty, co. Tipperary [I., 1797] on 19 October 1948.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Viscount Hutchinson of Knocklofty, co. Tipperary [U.K., 1821] on 19 October 1948.1 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baron Donoughmore of Knocklofty, co. Tipperary [I., 1783] on 19 October 1948.1 In June 1974 he was kidnapped, with his wife, by the IRA as a political hostage, and released after a week.1

Dorothy, Countess of Donoughmore of Knocklofty 2
     Dorothy Jean Hotham was the daughter of John Beaumont Hotham.1 She married John Michael Henry Hely Hutchinson, 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty, son of Richard Walter John Hely Hutchinson, 6th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Elena Maria Grace, on 27 July 1925.3 She died on 29 December 1995.1
     Her married name became Hely Hutchinson. She was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1947.1 As a result of her marriage, Dorothy Jean Hotham was styled as Countess of Donoughmore of Knocklofty on 19 October 1948. In June 1974 she was kidnapped, with her husband, by the IRA as a political hostage, and released after a week.3 She was invested as a Serving Sister, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (S.S.St.J.).1

     Sheila Parsons was the daughter of Frank Frederick Parsons.1 She married Richard Michael John Hely Hutchinson, 8th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty, son of John Michael Henry Hely Hutchinson, 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Dorothy Jean Hotham, on 1 November 1951.1 She died in September 1998.1
     Her married name became Hely Hutchinson. As a result of her marriage, Sheila Parsons was styled as Countess of Donoughmore of Knocklofty in 1981.
