     Dorothy Ethel Swallow is the daughter of J. T. Swallow.1 She married Hon. John Stuart Terrick Dudley Ryder, son of Dudley Ryder, 6th Earl of Harrowby and Lady Helena Blanche Coventry, on 24 July 1946.1
      Her married name became Ryder.

Sir George Charles Gordon-Lennox was born on 29 May 1908.1 He was the son of Major Lord Bernard Charles Gordon-Lennox and Evelyn Loch.1 He married Nancy Brenda Darell, daughter of Sir Lionel Edward Hamilton Marmaduke Darell, 6th Bt. and Eleanor Marion Edwards-Heathcote, on 16 July 1931.1 He died in 1988.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He held the office of Page of Honour to HM King George V between 1921 and 1924.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1943.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the service of the Grenadier Guards.1 He was invested as a Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1952.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1959.1 He was the Commandant between 1959 and 1963 at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was Director-General of Military Training, War Office between 1963 and 1964.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1964.1 He held the office of Governor of Edinburgh Castle between 1964 and 1966.1 He was General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Scottish Command between 1964 and 1966.1 He was Colonel of the Gordon Highlanders in 1965.1 He held the office of King of Arms of the Order of the British Empire between 1968 and 1968.1

Sir George Charles Gordon-Lennox, son of Major Lord Bernard Charles Gordon-Lennox and Evelyn Loch, on 16 July 1931.1 She died on 2 July 1993.2,3

     Sir Lionel Edward Hamilton Marmaduke Darell, 6th Bt. was born on 2 April 1876 at Fretherne House, Gloucestershire, England.2,3 He was the son of Sir Lionel Edward Darell, 5th Bt. and Helen Frances Marshland.2 He married Eleanor Marion Edwards-Heathcote, daughter of Captain Justinian John Edwards-Heathcote, on 21 April 1903.2 He died on 27 May 1954 at age 78.2
     He was Aide-de-Camp to General Officer Commanding of Cape Colony between 1909 and 1912.2 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 1st Life Guards.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1917, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.2 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.2 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Darell, of Ancaster House, Richmond Hill, Surrey [G.B., 1795] on 17 February 1919.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucstershire in 1924.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in 1936 in the service of the 5th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment.2
