     Emily Diana Frances Maude was born circa 1846. She was the daughter of Colonel Sir George Ashley Maude and Katherine Katinka Beauclerk.¹ She married Jonathan Peel Baird, son of Sir David Baird of Newbyth, 2nd Bt. and Lady Anne Kennedy, on 7 November 1867.¹ She died on 23 September 1926.¹
     Her married name became Baird.
