     He was educated at Millfield School, Street, Somerset, England.¹ He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Slade, of Maunsel House, Somerset [U.K., 1831] on 15 April 1962.¹ He was chairman of Shirlstar Container Transport Ltd and Pyman Bell Holdings in 1973.¹ He lived in 2003 at Maunsel Grange, North Newton, Somerset, England.¹

     Sarah Jane Slade was born on 13 September 1933.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Michael Nial Slade, 6th Bt. and Angela Clare Rosalind Chichester.¹ She married Herbert Robin Cayzer, 2nd Baron Rotherwick, son of Herbert Robin Cayzer, 1st Baron Rotherwick and Freda Penelope Rathbourne, on 4 April 1952.¹ She died in 1978.¹
      Her married name became Cayzer.

     Herbert Robin Cayzer, 3rd Baron Rotherwick was born on 12 March 1954. He is the son of Herbert Robin Cayzer, 2nd Baron Rotherwick and Sarah Jane Slade. He and Sara Jane McAlpine were divorced.¹ He married Sara Jane McAlpine, daughter of Robert James McAlpine and Jane Winifred Mary Anton, on 6 March 1982.¹
     He gained the title of 3rd Baron Rotherwick. He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Cayzer, of Gartmore, Perthshire [U.K., 1904] on 27 February 2012.²

     Hon. Charles William Cayzer was born on 26 April 1957. He is the son of Herbert Robin Cayzer, 2nd Baron Rotherwick and Sarah Jane Slade.

     Hon. Robina Jane Cayzer was born on 24 January 1953. She is the daughter of Herbert Robin Cayzer, 2nd Baron Rotherwick and Sarah Jane Slade.

     Barbara Constance Slade was the daughter of Sir Cuthbert Slade, 4th Bt. and Kathleen Scovell.^1,2 She married F/O. Nathaniel Alexander Lindley, son of Hon. Lennox Hannay Lindley and Karineh Khanum, on 1 June 1931.¹ She died in 1981.²
      Her married name became Lindley.
