     Jacobina Hosie was born on 3 July 1784 at South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of John Hosie and Elizabeth McHardie.1 She was baptised on 11 July 1784 at South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.1 She married Captain Robert William Hepburn, son of William Hepburn and Mary Ann Roy, on 19 May 1805 at South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.1 She died on 13 April 1871 at age 86 at Roy's Hill, St. Pauls Plains, Tasmania, Australia.1 She was buried on 14 April 1871 at Gala Kirk, Cranbrook, Tasmania, Australia.1
      From 19 May 1805, her married name became Hepburn.1
