     Captain Hubert Anthony John Preston was born on 20 December 1885. He was the son of Jenico William Joseph Preston, 14th Viscount Gormanston and Georgina Jane Connelan. He married Mary Kenny, daughter of Rt. Hon. William Kenny, on 8 January 1917. He died on 12 July 1940 at age 54.
