Thomas Algernon Raikes was born on 22 August 1876. He was the son of Rt. Hon. Henry Cecil Raikes and Charlotte Blanche Trevor-Roper.2 He married Jean Edith Baird, daughter of John Baird and Constance Amelia Harford, on 30 August 1906.1 He died in December 1950 at age 74.1
