     Lt.-Gen. Sir William Henry Clinton was born on 23 December 1769.3 He was the son of General Sir Henry Clinton and Harriet Carter.4 He married Hon. Louisa Dorothea Holroyd, daughter of John Baker Holroyd, 1st Earl of Sheffield and Abigail Way, on 14 March 1797.1 He died on 15 February 1846 at age 76.3
     He lived at CockeenhatchG.4 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 55th Foot.3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1 He was Lieutenant-Governor of Chelsea Hospital.4

     Hon. Douglas Edward Holroyd was born on 20 June 1834.1 He was the son of George Augustus Frederick Charles Holroyd, 2nd Earl of Sheffield and Lady Harriett Lascelles.1 He died on 9 February 1882 at age 47.1
     He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.1
