     Violet Mackworth-Praed was born on 8 January 1898.1 She was the daughter of Robert Herbert Mackworth-Praed and Mary Josephine Jolliffe.1 She married Charles Hugh Beresford Jenner-Parson, son of Charles Jenner-Parson, on 21 July 1920.1 She and Charles Hugh Beresford Jenner-Parson were divorced in 1937.1 She married Lt.-Cdr. John Gwyndd Wood, son of John William Wood, on 26 October 1945.1
     From 21 July 1920, her married name became Jenner-Parson.1 From 26 October 1945, her married name became Wood.1
