Brig.-Gen. Sir Arthur Pendarves Vivian was born on 4 June 1834.1 He was the son of John Henry Vivian and Sarah Jones. He married, firstly, Lady Augusta Emily Wyndham-Quin, daughter of Edwin Richard Wyndham-Quin, 3rd Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl and Augusta Gould, on 3 March 1867.2 He married Lady Jane Georgina Dalrymple, daughter of John Hamilton Dalrymple, 10th Earl of Stair and Louisa Jane Henrietta Emily de Franquetot, on 10 March 1880.3 He died on 18 August 1926 at age 92.3
