Samuel Soames, on 18 December 1975.1
     Sir Andrew Cosmo Lewis Duff Gordon, 8th Bt. was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England.1 He fought in the Suez Campaign between 1953 and 1954.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Worcester Regiment and 1st Battalion, 22nd Cheshire Regiment.1 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Duff, of Halkin, co.      Sir Douglas Frederick Duff Gordon, 7th Bt. was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Hampshire, England.1 He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.3 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1918 in the service of the Montgomeryshire Yeomanry and Scots Guards.3 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Duff, of Halkin, co.
