     He was given the name of Grant Allen Longsdon at birth.4 He was adopted by an unknown person.4 He fought in the Second World War.4 He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Royal Hussars.1

     Frances Horatia Morier was born in 1816.2 She was the daughter of John Philip Morier and Horatia Maria Francis Seymour.1 She married Rev. Hon. Edward Harbottle Grimston, son of James Walter Grimston, 1st Earl of Verulam and Lady Charlotte Jenkinson, on 15 June 1842.1 She died on 14 July 1906.1
     From 15 June 1842, her married name became Grimston.1

Edward Harbottle Grimston and Frances Horatia Morier.1 He married, firstly, Emily Pryor, daughter of Arthur Pryor and Elizabeth Sophia Dew, on 19 June 1872.1 He married, secondly, Ellen Jane Woodhouse, daughter of Robert Woodhouse, on 8 July 1885.1 He died on 28 July 1932 at age 88.1
