     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1944 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1948 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1
