Hugh Clement Sutton and Mabel Ida Munro.1 He married, firstly, Stella Clementina Price, daughter of Montague Whittingham Price and Clementina Elizabeth Charlotte Villiers, on 6 April 1921 at St. Paul's, Knightsbridge, London, England.1,2 He married, secondly, Elisabeth Clothilde Hedvige Maria Gabriella Gruszner, daughter of Zoltan Gruszner, on 21 March 1951 at Brussels, Belgium.1 He died on 18 March 1956 at age 59.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion d'Honneur.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was Secretary-General of Inter-Allied Reparation Agency between 1946 and 1951.1 He was Executive Secretary to NATO between 1951 and 1952.1
