     Ralph Edgar Banbury was born on 2 January 1881.1 He was the son of George Banbury and Nina Beale.1 He married Cecil Phoebe Haig, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Balfour Haig, on 26 April 1910.1 He died on 31 December 1957 at age 76.1
     Ralph Edgar Banbury fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Fusiliers.1
