     Edward Charles Ayshford Sanford was born on 6 June 1859. He was the son of William Ayshford Sanford and Sarah Ellen Seymour. He married Elizabeth May Griffith, daughter of Lloyd Walter Griffith, on 28 September 1904.1 He died on 22 March 1923 at age 63.
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Nynehead Court, Somerset, EnglandG.1

     Elizabeth May Griffith was born circa 1885.1 She was the daughter of Lloyd Walter Griffith.2 She married, firstly, Edward Charles Ayshford Sanford, son of William Ayshford Sanford and Sarah Ellen Seymour, on 28 September 1904.1 She married, secondly, Moubray St. Andrew Thornton St. John, 19th Baron Saint John of Bletso, son of Beauchamp Moubray St. John, 17th Baron Saint John of Bletso and Helen Charlotte Thornton, on 26 September 1923.1 She died on 25 October 1978.1
     Her married name became Ayshford Sanford. From 26 September 1923, her married name became St. John.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth May Griffith was styled as Baroness Saint John of Bletso on 26 September 1923.

     William Charles Ayshford Sanford was born on 23 July 1905. He was the son of Edward Charles Ayshford Sanford and Elizabeth May Griffith. He married, firstly, Rosemary Jean Aline Lindsay, daughter of Major Hon. Robert Hamilton Lindsay and Mary Janet Clarke, on 17 July 1928.1 He and Rosemary Jean Aline Lindsay were divorced in 1951.1 He married, secondly, Sheila Jane Coulthurst, daughter of Reginald Coulthurst, after 1951.2 He died on 6 April 1974 at age 68, killed in a motor accident.1
     He lived at Nynehead Court, Somerset, EnglandG.

     Henry Martin Ayshford Sanford was born on 12 February 1907 at Nynehead, Somerset, England.1 He was the son of Edward Charles Ayshford Sanford and Elizabeth May Griffith. He died on 6 April 1974 at age 67 at Yeovil, Somerset, England.1
     He was commissioned on 29 January 1927 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major on 11 June 1947.1
