     Robert Bruce, Lord Broonhall was the son of Sir George Bruce and Margaret Primrose.1 He married Helen Skene, daughter of Sir James Skene of Curriehill.1 He died on 25 June 1652.1
     Robert Bruce, Lord Broonhall was a practising Advocate.1 He held the office of Lord of Session [Scotland] in 1649.1 He was styled as Lord Broomhall [Scottish Law Lord] in 1649.1 He lived at Broomhall, Fife, Scotland.1

     Edward Bruce, 1st Earl of Kincardine was the son of Sir George Bruce and Mary Preston.1 He died in 1662, unmarried.1
     Edward Bruce, 1st Earl of Kincardine held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stirling [Scotland] in 1644.1 He was created 1st Lord Bruce of Torry [Scotland] on 26 December 1647.1 He was created 1st Earl of Kincardine [Scotland] on 26 December 1647.1
