     Sir Henry Morton Stanley was born illegitimately on 28 January 1841 at Denbigh, Denbighshire, Wales.2 He married Dorothy Tennant.2 He died on 10 May 1904 at age 63 at London, England.1
     He was given the name of John Rowlands at birth.1 He fought in the American Civil War between 1862 and 1863, first in the Confedrate Army, captured at Shiloh, and then in the Union Army.2 He emigrated to U.S.A. arriving on 1869.1 An African explorer, including finding Dr. Livingstone.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal Unionist) for Lambeth North between 1895 and 1900.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1899.1

     Sir Raymond Hoffenberg was born on 6 March 1923 at Port Elizabeth, South Africa.1 He married Margaret Rosenberg in 1949.1 He married Madeline C. L. Gräfin Douglas, daughter of Wilhelm Graf Douglas and Ursula von Ellrichshausen, in 2006.1 He died on 22 April 2007 at age 84.1
     He was educated at University of Cape Town, Cape Town, Cape Province, South AfricaG.1 He was Professor of Medicine between 1972 and 1985 at Birmingham University, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1 He was President of the Royal College of Physicians between 1983 and 1989.1 He was appointed Knight in 1984.1
