     Major Richard Raymond Raymond-Barker was born on 6 May 1894 at Forrest Gate, London, England.1 He was the son of Edward Raymond-Barker and Rose Mary Crawford.1 He married Crystobel Gwyther-Jones in 1926 at Chelsea, London, England.1 He died on 20 April 1918 at age 23 at France, killed in action, shot down by Baron von Richtofen.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Flying Corps.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1
