John Horsley Palmer1

     John Horsley Palmer was born on 7 July 1779.1 He was the son of William Palmer and Mary Horsley.1 He married Elizabeth Belli, daughter of John Belli and Elizabeth Stuart Cockerell, on 16 November 1810.1 He died on 7 February 1858 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He was director of the Bank of England between 1811 and 1857.1 He was Governor of the Bank of England between 1830 and 1832.1 He lived at Hurlingham, London, England.1

Elizabeth Belli1

     Elizabeth Belli was the daughter of John Belli and Elizabeth Stuart Cockerell.1 She married John Horsley Palmer, son of William Palmer and Mary Horsley, on 16 November 1810.1 She died on 22 June 1839.1
     From 16 November 1810, her married name became Palmer.1

     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Chief Justice of Madras between 1825 and 1835.1
