     Maud Eleonora Hardy was the daughter of Colonel John Hardy. She married Frank Douglas-Pennant, 5th Baron Penrhyn, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Archibald Charles Henry Douglas-Pennant and Hon. Harriet Ella Gifford, on 25 April 1892. She and Frank Douglas-Pennant, 5th Baron Penrhyn were divorced in 1903. She died on 12 December 1936.
     Her married name became Douglas-Pennant.
