Thomas Ridgeway, 1st Earl of Londonderry was born circa 1565.1 He was the son of Thomas Ridgeway and Mary Southcote.2 He married Cicely MacWilliam.3 He died on 24 January 1631/32 at London, England.1
He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon in 1600.2 He was appointed Knight in 1600.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Devon between 1604 and 1606.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1606.2 He held the office of Treasurer [Ireland] between 1606 and 1616.2 He was created 1st Baronet Ridgway on 25 November 1611.2 He was created 1st Baron Ridgeway of Gallen-Ridgeway on 25 May 1616. He was created 1st Earl of Londonderry [Ireland] on 23 August 1622.1

Dorothy Cartwright was the daughter of George Cartwright.1 She married Henry Willoughby, 5th Baron Middleton of Middleton, son of Hon. Thomas Willoughby and Elizabeth Sotheby, on 25 December 1756.1 She died on 18 September 1808.1

Henrietta Willoughby was born on 30 July 1766.2 She was the daughter of Henry Willoughby, 5th Baron Middleton of Middleton and Dorothy Cartwright.1 She married Richard Lumley-Saunderson, 6th Earl of Scarbrough, son of Richard Lumley-Saunderson, 4th Earl of Scarbrough and Barbara Savile, on 25 May 1787.1 She died in March 1846 at age 79.1 She was buried at Glentworth, Lincolnshire, England.2
