     Sir John Skeffington, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1590.1 He was the son of Sir William Skeffington, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dering.1 He married Cicely Skeffington, daughter of unknown Skeffington.1 He died on 19 November 1651.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle-under-Lyne in 1626.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Skeffington, of Fisherwicke, co. Staffs [E., 1627] circa 13 September 1635.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Staffordshire from 1637 to 1638.1 In 1650 he was fined for Royalism.1

     Sir Richard Skeffington was the son of Sir William Skeffington, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dering.1 He married Anne Newdigate, daughter of Sir John Newdigate.1 He died on 2 June 1647.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1624.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Staffordshire from 1646 to 1647.1

     Sir Hans Hamilton, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Robert Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Sarah Hamilton.1 He married Hon. Jane Skeffington, daughter of Clotworthy Skeffington, 3rd Viscount Massereene and Rachael Hungerford, circa 1705.1 He died in 1729/30, without male issue.1
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Hamilton.
