     From 1816, her married name became Fletcher.1

     Major Hugh Gascoyne Lyons-Montgomery was born on 30 October 1913 at Long Ashton, Somerset, England.1,2 He was the son of Major Hugh Frederick Lyons-Montgomery and Winifred Gascoyne Dalziel.1 He married Sonia Florence Oldrini, daughter of Basil Claude John Oldrini, in 1940 at Shillong, Bengal, India.1 He died on 5 May 1944 at age 30 at Kohima, Burma, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on 31 August 1933.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 30 November 1935.3 He gained the rank of Captain on 31 August 1941.3 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 2nd Battalion, 2nd King Edward VII's Own Gurkha Rifles.1
