     Richard Swinton was baptised on 29 March 1777 at St. Martin in the Fields, Westminster, London, England.2 He was the son of Captain Samuel Swinton and Félicité Jeanne le Fébre.3 He died in 1828.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the Indian Army.1

She married, firstly, Archibald Mitchelson of Middleton.1
     Her married name became Trotter. Her married name became Mitchelson.
