     Lina Janet Ovans was born on 24 July 1870.1 She was the daughter of John Lambert Ovans and Lina Mary Phipps Hornby.1 She was baptised on 17 August 1870 at East Sheen, Surrey, England.1 She married Rt. Rev. Hugh James Foss.1 She died on 12 April 1942 at age 71.1
     Her married name became Foss.1

     Ethel Maud Fraser is the daughter of William John Fraser and Jane Palmer.2 She married Sir Cyril Arthur Pearson, 1st Bt., son of Reverend Arthur Cyril Pearson and Philippa Massingberd Maxwell-Lyte, on 3 June 1897.1,2 She died on 10 April 1945.2
     From 3 June 1897, her married name became Pearson.1 She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1916.2 She was vice-president of the National Institute for the Blind.3

     Reverend Arthur Cyril Pearson was born on 9 January 1838.2 He was the son of Reverend Arthur Pearson and Sophia Jane Gepp.2 He married Philippa Massingberd Maxwell-Lyte, daughter of Henry William Maxwell-Lyte and Emily Prettyjohn, on 15 December 1864 at Guildford, Surrey, England.1 He died on 8 November 1916 at age 78.3
     He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He was Rector between 1877 and 1886 at Drayton Parstow, Buckinghamshire, England.3 He was Rector between 1886 and 1897 at Springfield, Essex, England.3
