     Charles Slingsby Chaplin was born circa 1868.1 He married Georgina Eglantine Hamilton, daughter of Dacre Mervyn Archdale Hamilton and Helen Georgina Nugent, on 1 April 1893 at Belfast, County Armagh, Ireland.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1

     Sarah Ellis was born in 1862 at Bootle, Lancashire, England.2 She was the daughter of George Ellis.3 She married William Vestey, 1st Baron Vestey, son of Samuel Vestey and Hannah Uttley, on 22 March 1882.1 She died on 8 August 1923 at Camberwell, Surrey, England.1,2
     From 22 March 1882, her married name became Vestey. After her marriage, Sarah Ellis was styled as Baroness Vestey on 20 June 1922.

     She was with the Women's Auxiliary Air Force during the Second World War.1 From 10 July 1945, her married name became Stevens.
