     Sydney Stead Vestey was born on 19 March 1871.¹ He was the son of Samuel Vestey and Hannah Uttley.² He married, secondly, Eliza Worrall, daughter of John Worrall.¹ He married, firstly, Alice Ellis, daughter of George Ellis, on 26 August 1896.¹ He died on 1 November 1923 at age 52.¹
     He had two sons and a daughter by his second wife.¹

     George Ellis lived at Tranmere, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England.¹

     From 20 June 1894, her married name became Jones. On 21 November 1938 her name was legally changed to Florence Martha Jones-Vestey by Deed Poll.¹

     David Daniel Jones married Florence Martha Vestey, daughter of Samuel Vestey and Hannah Uttley, on 20 June 1894.¹ He died on 3 February 1933.¹
