     Alan Loader Maffey, 2nd Baron Rugby was born on 16 April 1913.1 He was the son of John Loader Maffey, 1st Baron of Rugby and Dorothy Gladys Huggins.2 He married Margaret Bindley, daughter of Harold Bindley, on 14 April 1947.1 He died on 12 January 1990 at age 76 at Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1,3
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Auxiliary Air Force.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Rugby, of Rugby, co. Warwick [U.K., 1947] on 20 April 1969.1

Simon Chelmsford Loader Maffey was born on 12 April 1919.1 He was the son of John Loader Maffey, 1st Baron of Rugby and Dorothy Gladys Huggins.2 He married Andrée Norma Middleton, daughter of George Middleton, in 1949.1 He and Andrée Norma Middleton were divorced in 1962.1 He died on 16 December 2004 at age 85.3
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant between 1937 and 1943 in the Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded and invalided.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Merchant Navy.1 He lived in 2003 at Charterhouse, London, England.1
