     Lt.-Col. John William Ramsay-Fairfax was born on 14 November 1909.1 He was the son of William George Astell Ramsay-Fairfax and Lilian Kate Rich.2 He married, firstly, Audrey Richardson, daughter of Reverend Lewis Richardson, on 22 November 1947.1 He married, secondly, Mary Dolores Ellen Carroll, daughter of Daniel Carroll and Elizabeth Helen Kathleen Alice Lacy, on 3 June 1964.1 He died on 4 March 1981 at age 71.3
     He graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1931 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Army Catering Corps.1 His marriage to Audrey Richardson was annulled in 1956.1 He was a secretary at the Alyseford Priory between 1957 and 1958.1 He was House Manager of the Royal Commonwealth Society's Headquarters between 1958 and 1961 at London, England.1

     Audrey Richardson is the daughter of Reverend Lewis Richardson.2 She married Lt.-Col. John William Ramsay-Fairfax, son of William George Astell Ramsay-Fairfax and Lilian Kate Rich, on 22 November 1947.1
     From 22 November 1947, her married name became Ramsay-Fairfax. Her marriage to Lt.-Col. John William Ramsay-Fairfax was annulled in 1956.1

     Victor George Hargrave Ramsay-Fairfax was born on 13 June 1912.1 He was the son of William George Astell Ramsay-Fairfax and Lilian Kate Rich.2 He married Christian Geraldine Mary Irby, daughter of Major Frederick Arthur Irby and Louisa Christian Fellowes, on 14 September 1939.1 He died in May 2004 at age 91 at Sudbury, Essex, England.3
     He fought in the Second World War, he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He lived at Lavenham, Suffolk, England.1
