     Frederick William Irby was born on 28 July 1806.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Hon. Frederick Paul Irby and Emily Ives Drake.1 He married Isabella Harriet Bruce, daughter of Robert Nicholson Bruce and Harriet Elizabeth Williams, on 7 March 1846.1 He died on 1 June 1877 at age 70, without issue.1
     Frederick William Irby lived at Boyland Hall, Long Stratton, Norfolk, England.1

     Isabella Harriet Bruce was the daughter of Robert Nicholson Bruce and Harriet Elizabeth Williams.1,2 She married Frederick William Irby, son of Rear-Admiral Hon. Frederick Paul Irby and Emily Ives Drake, on 7 March 1846.1 She died on 13 April 1906.1
     From 7 March 1846, her married name became Irby.1

     Robert Nicholson Bruce was born on 5 April 1795.3 He was the son of Patrick Craufurd Bruce and Jane Smith.2 He married Harriet Elizabeth Williams, daughter of Richard Williams, in 1822.3 He died on 24 June 1867 at age 72.3

     Major Frederick Arthur Irby was born on 23 June 1865.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Leonard Howard Loyd Irby and Geraldine Alicia Mary Magenis.1 He married Louisa Christian Fellowes, daughter of Colonel James Fellowes, on 9 April 1907.1 He died on 19 September 1930 at age 65.1
     Major Frederick Arthur Irby gained the rank of Major in the service of the 7th Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Rifle Brigade.1 He fought in the Third Burma War between 1885 and 1887.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1902.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 7th Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He lived at Boyland Hall, Long Stratton, Norfolk, England.1
