Reverend Joseph Phillimore1

     Reverend Joseph Phillimore was born in 1750.1 He was the son of Robert Phillimore and Elizabeth Jephson.2 He married Mary Machin, daughter of John Machin, on 5 January 1775.1 He died on 26 July 1831.1
     He was the Vicar at Orton-on-the-Hil, Leicestershire, England.1 They also had three daughters.1

     Mary Machin was the daughter of John Machin.2 She married Reverend Joseph Phillimore, son of Robert Phillimore and Elizabeth Jephson, on 5 January 1775.1 She died on 2 February 1810.1
     From 5 January 1775, her married name became Phillimore.1 They also had three daughters.1

     William Phillimore was born on 6 February 1777.1 He was the son of Reverend Joseph Phillimore and Mary Machin.2 He married Almeria Thornton, daughter of Godfrey Thornton and Jane Godin, on 4 April 1807.1 He died on 28 November 1860 at age 83, leaving issue.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Deacon's Hill, Hertfordshire, England.1

     Godfrey Thornton was born on 16 October 1737.2 He was the son of Godfrey Thornton and Margaret Astell.2 He married Jane Godin, daughter of Stephen Peter Godin, on 31 July 1766.2 He died on 12 November 1805 at age 68.2
     He lived at Moggerhanger House, Bedfordshire, England.1 He was a director of the Bank of England between 1772 and 1801.2 He held the office of Deputy Governor of the Bank of England between 1791 and 1793.2 He held the office of Governor of the Bank of England between 1793 and 1795.2 He was chairman of Lloyds of London.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Bedfordshire in 1803.2
