Maria van Oudenaarde Vrouwe van Pamele was the daughter of Jan Heer van Oudenaarde Heer van Pamele and Adèle de Nesle-Soissons.1,2 She married Godfried van Brabant Heer van Gassbeek en Herstal, Seigneur de Beaucignies, son of Henri I, Duc de Brabant and Matilda de Boulogne, in 1243.1 She died in 1290.2

Jan Heer van Oudenaarde Heer van Pamele was born in 1220.2 He was the son of Arnulf IV Heer van Oudenaarde Heer van Pamele and Alix, Dame de Rozoy.2 He married Adèle de Nesle-Soissons, daughter of Jean II de Nesle, Comte de Soissons and Maria van Oudenaarde, Dame du Tour et de Chimay.2 He died on 12 December 1293.2
