     William Palmer was born on 12 July 1811.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Jocelyn Palmer and Dorothea Richardson Roundell.¹ He died on 4 April 1879 at age 67 at Rome, Italy.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.² He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He was a theologian and archæologist.¹ He wrote the book Harmony of Anglican Doctrine with the Doctrine of the Eastern Churc, published 1846.¹ He wrote the book An Appeal to the Scottish Bishops and Clergy, and generally to the Church of their Communion, published 1849.¹ In 1855 he became a Roman Catholic.²

     Sir George Murray Home Stirling, 9th Bt. was born on 4 September 1869.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Elphinstone Fleming Stirling, 8th Bt. and Anne Georgina Murray.¹ He married Mabel Elizabeth Sprot, daughter of Sir Alexander Sprot, 1st Bt. and Ethel Florence Thorp, on 15 November 1904.¹ He died on 1 May 1949 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Chitral Campaign in 1895.¹ He fought in the Tirah Campaign between 1897 and 1898.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he was mentioned in dispatches and was wounded.¹ He fought in the Somaliland Campaign between 1903 and 1904.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Stirling, of Glorat, co. Stirling [N.S., 1666] on 10 September 1910.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was mentioned in dispatches four times and was wounded.¹ He was commanding officer of the 2nd Battalion, Essex Regiment in 1915.¹ He was commanding officer of the 1st Battalion, Essex Regiment in 1917.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dunbartonshire.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Essex Regiment.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Stirlingshire.¹ He held the office of Keeper of Dunbarton Castle in 1927.¹ He was Brigadier of the Company of Archers.¹ On his death his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Robert Richardson was the son of James Richardson and Margaret Miller.¹ He died in 1635.¹

     Mabel Elizabeth Sprot is the daughter of Sir Alexander Sprot, 1st Bt. and Ethel Florence Thorp. She married Sir George Murray Home Stirling, 9th Bt., son of Sir Charles Elphinstone Fleming Stirling, 8th Bt. and Anne Georgina Murray, on 15 November 1904.²
     From 15 November 1904, her married name became Stirling. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Stirlingshire.² She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1946.²

     Amy R. Robinson-Horley is the daughter of Richard Robinson-Horley.¹ She married Sir Stephen Tristram Ricketts, 9th Bt., son of Sir Robert Tristram Ricketts, 8th Bt. and Ann Lewis.¹
     Her married name became Ricketts.¹

     Baron M. de Chamisso de Boncourt married Anna de Buffa, daughter of Jean Baptiste de Buffa, on 26 December 1849.¹

     Caroline Isabella Louisa Maturin was born in 1855.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Edmund Maturin and Elizabeth Catherine Persse.¹ She died in 1948.¹
