     Sir Henry Vernon was born in 1441.1 He was the son of Sir William Vernon and Margaret Swynfen.1,2 He married Lady Anne Talbot, daughter of John Talbot, 2nd Earl of Shrewsbury and Lady Elizabeth Butler.1 He died in 1515.1
     He was Governor and Treasurer to Prince Arthur, eldest son of King Henry VII.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.)1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)1 He also had five other daughters (three died without issue.)1

     Sir William Vernon was born in 1418.1 He was the son of Sir Richard de Vernon and Benedicta Ludlow.2 He married Margaret Swynfen, daughter of William Swynfen and Jocosa Durvassal, in 1435.1 He died in 1467, with three younger sons and four daughters:.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derbyshire in 1442.1 He held the office of Knight Constable of England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derbyshire between 1449 and 1451.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Staffordshire from 1455 to 1456.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derbyshire in 1467.1 He had three younger sons and four daughters.1
