     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.2 He lived at Bentley Hall, Walsall, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1

     Jane Lane was born circa 1617.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Lane and Anne Bagot.1,2 She married Sir Clement Fisher, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Fisher, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Tyringham, on 8 December 1663.1 She died on 9 September 1689.1 She was buried at Packington, Warwickshire, England.3
     From 8 December 1663, her married name became Fisher.1 She has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2
