     Sir Edward Littleton, 3rd Bt. was the son of Edward Littleton and Susannah Biddulph.² He married Mary Hoare, daughter of Sir Richard Hoare.¹ He died on 2 January 1741/42, without issue.¹
     He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Littleton, of Pillaton Hall, co. Staffs [E., 1627] circa 1709.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Staffordshire in 1712.¹
