     Helen Rebecca Macdonell was the daughter of Aeneas Ranaldson Macdonell, 16th of Glengarry and Josephine Bennett.2 She married Captain John Cuninghame, 12th of Balgownie on 7 August 1865.1 She died on 29 May 1888.1
     From 7 August 1865, her married name became Cuninghame.

     From 1819, her married name became Macdonell.

     Æneas Ranald Macdonell was born in 1825 at Madras, India.1,2 He was the son of Æneas Ranald Macdonell, 19th of Glengarry and 6th of Scotus and Juliana Charlotte Wade.3 He married, firstly, Emma Briggs, daughter of General John Briggs and Jane Dodson, on 18 September 1845 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1,2 He and Emma Briggs were divorced on 25 November 1863 at London, England.2 He married, secondly, Mary Johnstone, daughter of Dr. Richard Johnstone, in 1866.1 He died on 2 February 1867 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1,2
     He held the office of Judge of Trichinopoly, Madras Civil Service.1,2

General John Briggs1

     General John Briggs was born on 18 September 1785 at Madapollam, India.2 He was the son of Dr. John Briggs and Martha Pybus.2 He married Jane Dodson, daughter of John Dodson and Sarah Carey, on 3 September 1811 at Madras, India.2 He died on 27 April 1875 at age 89 at Bridge Lodge, Burgess Hill, Sussex, England.2
     He gained the rank of General in the Honourable East India COmpany Service.2
