     Angus Macalister Macdonald, 7th of Glengarry was the son of Alexander Macdonald, 6th of Glengarry and Margaret Macdonald.2 He married Janet Maclean, daughter of Hector Maclean, 8th of Duart.1 He married Margaret MacLeod, daughter of MacLeod of MacLeod.1 He married Mary Mackenzie, daughter of Kenneth Mackenzie 5th of Kintail.1 He died in 1574, having by her had:.1
      On 8 July 1574 had a charter of confirmation under the Great Seal of the lands of Glengarry, which had been apprised by John Grant 4th of Freuchie and were granted by him to the said Angus by charter dated 18 Nov 1571.1
