Daniel Holme Pilkington was born on 14 September 1892.1 He was the son of Reverend James Holme Pilkington and Marion Gertrude Holme.1 He married Cicely H. Walters, daughter of Reverend Frank Bridgman Walters and Cecilia Frances Beales, in 1918 at Eastbourne, Sussex, England.1 He died in 1981 at Ipswich, Suffolk, England.1

Alexander Macdonald, 6th of Glengarry was the son of John Macdonald, 5th of Glengarry and unknown Cameron.2 He married Margaret Macdonald, daughter of Alexander Macdonald of Lochalsh.1 He died in 1560.1
Had a charter under the Great Seal in favour of him and his wife in life rent and their eldest son in fee of the Castle of Strone, half the lands of Lochalsh, Lochcarron and Lochbroom on the resignation of his w.1 On 5 February 1519 entered into a bond of man rent with Colin, 3rd Earl of Argyll (see ARGYLL, D).1
Had a charter under the Great Seal in favour of him and his wife in life rent and their eldest son in fee of the Castle of Strone, half the lands of Lochalsh, Lochcarron and Lochbroom on the resignation of his w.1 On 5 February 1519 entered into a bond of man rent with Colin, 3rd Earl of Argyll (see ARGYLL, D).1
