     Sir Roderick MacLeod of Talisker is the son of Sir Roderick Macleod of Macleod, 15th Chief and Isabel Macdonell.2 He married Mary Mackay, daughter of Donald Mackay, 1st Lord Reay and Barbara Mackenzie.1
      Married 2nd Mary, daughter of Sir Lachlan Mackinnon of Mackinnon (qv) issue.1 In 1661 knighted for servs to the royalist cause, obtained lease of Talisker.1
