     George William Lucas, 1st Baron Lucas of Chilworth was born on 29 March 1896.1 He was the son of Percy William Lucas.2 He married Sonia Finkelstein, daughter of Marcus Finkelstein, on 24 February 1917.1 He died on 11 October 1967 at age 71.1
     He fought in the First World War, with the Royal Naval Air Service.1 He was President of the Manufacturers' Agents Association of Great Britain in 1927.1 He was President of the Manufacturers' Agents Association of Great Britain between 1941 and 1946.1 He was chairman of the National Joint Industrial Council of Motor Trade between 1943 and 1946.1 He was created 1st Baron Lucas of Chilworth, of Chilworth, co. Southampton [U.K.] on 27 June 1946.1 He was chairman of the Agriculture Marketing Accounts Marketing in 1947.1 He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting between 1948 and 1949.1 He held the office of Chief Government Whip between 1949 and 1950.1 He held the office of Parliamentary Secretary, Ministery of Transport between 1950 and 1951.1

     Sonia Finkelstein was the daughter of Marcus Finkelstein.2 She married George William Lucas, 1st Baron Lucas of Chilworth, son of Percy William Lucas, on 24 February 1917.1 She died in 1979.1
     From 24 February 1917, her married name became Lucas. After her marriage, Sonia Finkelstein was styled as Baroness Lucas of Chilworth on 27 June 1946.

     Michael William George Lucas, 2nd Baron Lucas of Chilworth was born on 26 April 1926.1 He was the son of George William Lucas, 1st Baron Lucas of Chilworth and Sonia Finkelstein.2 He married, firstly, Ann-Marie Buck, daughter of Ronald William Buck, on 9 June 1955.1 He and Ann-Marie Buck were divorced in 1989.1 He married, secondly, Jill Mary Parker in 1998.1 He died on 10 November 2001 at age 75.1
     He was educated at Peter Symonds College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Luton College of Technology, Luton, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Lucas of Chilworth, of Chilworth, co.      From 9 June 1955, her married name became Lucas. After her marriage, Ann-Marie Buck was styled as Baroness Lucas of Chilworth on 11 October 1967.

     He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was Stipendiary Magistrate for British Guiana in 1897.1
