     Mary Elizabeth Heywood was born in 1829 at Swinton, Manchester, Lancashire, England^G.¹ She married Rt. Rev. George Henry Sumner, son of Rt. Rev. Charles Richard Sumner and Jennie Fannie Barnabine Maunoir, in 1848 at Ledbury, Herefordshire, England^G.¹
     From 1848, her married name became Sumner.¹ She was founder of the Mother's Union.²

     Edith Lawrence was the daughter of John Laird Mair Lawrence, 1st Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately and Harriette Katherine Hamilton.² She died on 24 February 1861, unmarried.¹

     Hon. Maude Agnes Lawrence was the daughter of John Laird Mair Lawrence, 1st Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately and Harriette Katherine Hamilton.² She died on 11 January 1933, unmarried.¹
     She was Chief of Woman Inspectors, Board of Education.¹ She was Director of the Women's Establishment, Treasury.¹ She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1926.¹

     From 22 August 1872, her married name became Lawrence. After her marriage, Mary Caroline Douglas was styled as Baroness Lawrence on 27 June 1879.

     Alexander Graham Lawrence, 3rd Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately was born on 29 March 1878.¹ He was the son of John Hamilton Lawrence, 2nd Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately and Mary Caroline Douglas.² He married, firstly, Dorothy Helen Hobson, daughter of Anthony Pemberton Hobson, on 12 November 1907.¹ He married, secondly, Jessie Daniels, daughter of Colonel Byron Gordon Daniels, on 3 September 1935.¹ He married, thirdly, Catherine Louisa Fernihough, daughter of Charles Fernihough, on 29 June 1938.¹ He died on 24 June 1947 at age 69.¹

     Anthony Pemberton Hobson lived at Greenford, London, England.¹

     Dorothy Helen Hobson was the daughter of Anthony Pemberton Hobson.² She married Alexander Graham Lawrence, 3rd Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately, son of John Hamilton Lawrence, 2nd Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately and Mary Caroline Douglas, on 12 November 1907.¹ She died on 1 February 1935.¹
     From 12 November 1907, her married name became Lawrence. After her marriage, Dorothy Helen Hobson was styled as Baroness Lawrence on 22 August 1913. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.¹

     John Anthony Edward Lawrence, 4th Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately was born on 16 October 1908.¹ He was the son of Alexander Graham Lawrence, 3rd Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately and Dorothy Helen Hobson.² He married, firstly, Margaret Jean Downer, daughter of Arthur Downer, on 8 August 1936.¹ He and Margaret Jean Downer were divorced in 1947.¹ He married, secondly, Joan Alice Mildred Lewer, daughter of Colonel Arthur John Lewer, on 16 October 1948.¹ He died on 8 October 1968 at age 59.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 8th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment (Territorial Army.)¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately, co. Southampton [U.K., 1869] on 24 June 1947.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Lawrence [U.K., 1858] on 24 June 1947.¹

     Hon. Catherine Dorina Mary Lawrence was born in 1910.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Graham Lawrence, 3rd Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately and Dorothy Helen Hobson.² She died in 1995, without issue.¹

     Hon. Sara Honora Angel Lawrence was born in 1912.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Graham Lawrence, 3rd Baron Lawrence of the Punjaub and of Grately and Dorothy Helen Hobson.² She died in 1992, without issue.¹
