     Raymond Patrick Johnson-Ferguson was born on 9 October 1912.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Edward Alexander James Johnson-Ferguson, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Elsie Dorothea McLaren.2 He married Winifred Clare Edwards, daughter of Colonel Henry Edwards, in 1987.1 He died on 10 September 1997 at age 84, without issue.1
     He was educated at Alderley House School, England.1 He graduated from Pembroke College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1934 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Westmorland and Cumberland Yeomanry, Royal Artillery (TA.)1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cumberland in 1958.1

     Winifred Clare Edwards was born circa 1912.2 She was the daughter of Colonel Henry Edwards.3 She married Raymond Patrick Johnson-Ferguson, son of Colonel Sir Edward Alexander James Johnson-Ferguson, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Elsie Dorothea McLaren, in 1987.1 She died on 20 January 2002.2
     From 1987, her married name became Johnson-Ferguson. She lived in 2003 at Westerkirk Mains, Langholm, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.1

     From 24 January 1931, her married name became Johnson-Ferguson.
