     Lord Edward FitzGerald was born on 15 October 1763.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. James FitzGerald, 1st Duke of Leinster and Lady Emilia Mary Lennox.1 He married Stephanie Caroline Anne Syms on 27 December 1792 at Tournai, France.1 He died on 4 June 1798 at age 34 at Dublin Prison, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, from wounds received while resisting arrest on charges of treason.1
     He and Elizabeth Anne Linley were associated.3 He fought in the American War of Independence.1

     Stephanie Caroline Anne Syms married Lord Edward FitzGerald, son of Lt.-Gen. James FitzGerald, 1st Duke of Leinster and Lady Emilia Mary Lennox, on 27 December 1792 at Tournai, France.1 She married, secondly, unknown Pitcairn after 1798.1 She died in 1831.1
     She was also known as Pamela.1 Her married name became FitzGerald. From after 1798, her married name became Pitcairn.1

     Captain Edward Fox FitzGerald was born on 10 October 1794.1 He was the son of Lord Edward FitzGerald and Stephanie Caroline Anne Syms.1 He married Jane Paul, daughter of Sir John Dean Paul, 1st Bt. and Frances Eleanor Simpson, on 6 November 1827.1 He died on 25 January 1863 at age 68.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 10th Hussars, 3rd Dragoons and 52nd Foot.1

     He gained the rank of Midshipman in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.2
