     Reverend Lionel Forbes Vane Smith de Heriz was born in 1842 at Hethe, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was the son of Reverend Forbes Smith de Heriz and Sophia Mary Fletcher-Vane.1 He married Hannah Maria Giles in 1871 at Ludlow, Shropshire, England.1 He died in 1901 at Nether Whitacre, Warwickshire, England.1

     Her married name became Hamilton.1 Her last will was dated 11 June 1667.1
