     Lt.-Gen. Sir George Thomas Napier was born on 30 June 1784. He was the son of Colonel Hon. George Napier and Lady Sarah Lennox. He married, firstly, Margaret Craig, daughter of John Craig and Sarah Stark, on 28 October 1812. He married, secondly, Frances Dorothea Blencowe, daughter of Robert Willis Blencowe and Penelope Robinson, in 1839.² He died on 8 September 1855 at age 71.³
     He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).⁴

     Randall Edward Plunkett, 14th Lord Dunsany was born on 5 September 1804.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edward Wadding Plunkett, 13th Lord Dunsany and Hon. Charlotte Louisa Lawless.² He married Elizabeth Evelyn, daughter of Lyndon Evelyn, on 29 December 1838.¹ He died on 7 April 1852 at age 47, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Drogheda between 1835 and 1837.¹ He succeeded to the title of 14th Lord Dunsany [I., c. 1462] on 11 December 1848.¹ He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1850 and 1852.¹

     Margaret Craig was the daughter of John Craig and Sarah Stark.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. Sir George Thomas Napier, son of Colonel Hon. George Napier and Lady Sarah Lennox, on 28 October 1812.
      Her married name became Napier.

     Frances Dorothea Blencowe was born on 4 April 1793 at Cranford, Northamptonshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Willis Blencowe and Penelope Robinson.¹ She married, firstly, William Peere Williams-Freeman.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. Sir George Thomas Napier, son of Colonel Hon. George Napier and Lady Sarah Lennox, in 1839.² She died on 11 July 1881 at age 88.²
      Her married name became Williams-Freeman.¹ From 1839, her married name became Napier.

     Sheila Chisholme Hartley was born on 10 May 1928.² She is the daughter of Major Hugh B. Hartley and Betty Eden.¹ She married Brigadier John Gordon Bagnall on 21 August 1946.²
      From 21 August 1946, her married name became Bagnall.²

     Colonel Hon. George Napier was born on 11 March 1751. He was the son of Francis Napier, 6th Baron Napier of Merchistoun and Henrietta Maria Johnston. He married, firstly, Elizabeth Pollock, daughter of Captain Robert Pollock, on 22 January 1775. He married, secondly, Lady Sarah Lennox, daughter of General Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond and Lady Sarah Cadogan, on 27 August 1781.¹ He died on 13 October 1804 at age 53.

     Elizabeth Pollock was the daughter of Captain Robert Pollock. She married Colonel Hon. George Napier, son of Francis Napier, 6th Baron Napier of Merchistoun and Henrietta Maria Johnston, on 22 January 1775.
      From 22 January 1775, her married name became Napier.

     Lt.-Col. Roger Palmer Landon was the son of Colonel Asalbie Landon.¹ He married Betty Eden, daughter of Robert Hildyard Henley Eden and Maud Effie Mary von Guttenberg, on 11 May 1933.¹ He died on 3 October 1936.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).¹

     Henrietta Maria Johnston married Francis Napier, 6th Baron Napier of Merchistoun, son of Sir William Scott, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Brisbane, in 1750.
      From 1750, her married name became Napier.

     William Napier, 7th Baron Napier of Merchistoun was the son of Francis Napier, 6th Baron Napier of Merchistoun and Lady Henrietta Hope. He married Marie Anne Cathcart, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles Cathcart, 8th Lord Cathcart and Marion Shaw, on 16 December 1754.¹ He died in 1775, with four daughters:.¹
     He was Lieutenant-Colonel and DAG Forces Scotland.¹ He gained the title of 7th Baron Napier of Merchistoun. He lived at Merchistoun, Scotland.
