     General William Craig Emilius Napier was born on 18 March 1818. He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir George Thomas Napier and Margaret Craig. He married Emily Cephalonia Napier, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles James Napier and Anastasia (?), on 21 April 1845. He died on 23 September 1903 at age 85.

     Robert Clement Sconce Bunbury was born on 19 January 1847.1 He was the son of Captain Richard Hanmer Bunbury and Sarah Susanna Sconce.1 He married Elizabeth Anne Barnes, daughter of John Henry Barnes, on 9 August 1888.1 He died on 10 December 1930 at age 83.1
     Robert Clement Sconce Bunbury graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was a practising barrister.1
