Henry William Hobhouse1

     Henry William Hobhouse was born on 8 August 1791.1 He was the son of Sir Benjamin Hobhouse, 1st Bt. and Charlotte Cam.2 He married Mary Anne Palmer, daughter of John Palmer, in 1814.1 He died on 22 May 1868 at age 76, with other issue.1
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.1 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) Hereford in 1841.1

Mary Anne Palmer1

     Mary Anne Palmer was the daughter of John Palmer.2 She married Henry William Hobhouse, son of Sir Benjamin Hobhouse, 1st Bt. and Charlotte Cam, in 1814.1 She died on 14 December 1879.1
     From 1814, her married name became Hobhouse.

John Byron Hobhouse1

     John Byron Hobhouse was born on 29 March 1817.1 He was the son of Henry William Hobhouse and Mary Anne Palmer.2 He died in January 1842 at age 24 at Afghanistan, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Afghanistan War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 13th Light Infantry.1

     Hon. Henry Alfred Napier was born on 20 June 1797.2 He was the son of Francis Napier, 8th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Maria Margaret Clavering.1 He was baptised on 12 July 1797 at Wilton, Roxburghshire, ScotlandG.1 He died on 20 November 1871 at age 74.1
     He wrote the book Historial Notices of Swyncombe and Ewelme.2 He was Master of Ewelme Hospital.2 He was Rector at Swyncombe, Oxfordshire, England.2
