     Elizabeth Biddulph was the daughter of Sir Theophilus Biddulph, 1st Bt. and Susanna Highlord.1 She married Sir John Napier, 1st/4th Bt., son of Sir Robert Napier, 2nd Bt. and Penelope Egerton, on 29 August 1666.1,2
     From 29 August 1666, her married name became Napier.1

     Sir John Napier, 1st/4th Bt. was born in 1636.2 He was the son of Sir Robert Napier, 2nd Bt. and Penelope Egerton.3 He married Elizabeth Biddulph, daughter of Sir Theophilus Biddulph, 1st Bt. and Susanna Highlord, on 29 August 1666.1,2 He died in August 1711.3
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedfordshire.3 He was created 1st Baronet Napier, of Luton Hoo, co. Bedford [England] on 4 March 1660/61, with the precendency of 25 Nov 1612.3 He twice fell from his horse, and became so crazed that a commission of lunacy was awarded against him.3 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Napier, of Luton Hoo, co. Bedford [E., 1612] in 1675.3

     He held the office of Sheriff of Staffordshire from 1680 to 1681.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Staffordshire between 1685 and 1687.2
